Organisational aspirations are crticial to the survival and advancement of any organisation as these provide a compass to navigate future aspirations

As such, through the Eastern Cape Information Technology Initiative’s (ECITI) strategic plan, the organisation has bold ambitions of making an impact within the Eastern Cape socio-economic landscape.

ECITI’s newly incubated enterprise, Kusile Youth Dance Theatre, is a film and performance arts non-profit organisation based in Mdantsane.

 
 

FILM MAKERS SHOW OFF IN MDANTSANE

Local film enthusiasts were in full force at the Buffalo City segment of the ECITI Eastern Cape Film Forum Workshop and Screening. More than 40 film producers and emerging artists come out to gain valuable information from experienced industry players at the Mdantsane Art Centre on the 1st April 2016.

 
 

SAFE PASS FOCUSES ON ROAD SAFETY



Unsafe overtaking continues to cause horrific car accidents on South African roads; but these fatalities may be a thing of the past when ShirlCorp’s Safe Pass application reaches the commercial market.

A total of nine feature films were screened at the workshop held in Mdantsane and portrayed a range of issues from social economic problems to cyber romance stories.

The Inaugural South African Business Incubation (SABI) Conference held in Gallagher Estate, Midrand, in March, has provided a significant boost for ECITI.

The event provided a platform for the ECITI team to initiate a partnership with the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) and Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) that will see the partners instigating a funding programme.
